• Use GraphPad Prism: statistical software for Mac + Windows, student license available for all CSUSM students:

• Data : Download Anscombe's Quartet Data (XLS)
• Help? How to use Prism - Guide
  Click on "Correlation" under "PRISM 5 REGRESSION GUIDE"

Instructions

• Pick one of the 4 Anscombes data series (1,2,3 or 4),and using Prism:
• Create an X,Y scatterplot
• Add a Linear Regression analysis and Line to the graph
• Add a Correlation

Turn In:

• Create a Microsoft Word document (.DOC or .DOCX is ok)
• Name this file exactly: Psyc402-Exercise03-yourname.doc
  replace yourname with your CSUSM student email name, e.g. smith001
• In this document, Include the Scatterplot Graph
• Include the Linear Regression results
• Include the Correlation results
• Compose an email:
  To: mdiehr@csusm.edu
  Subj: Psyc402-Exercise03-yourname
  Attachment: the doc file
• Due Date: Tuesday Sep 28th by 11:59pm

Before you send the email:

• Did you use Prism?
• Did you use the correct Subject line in your email?
• Make sure all your results are in a single file -- do not send more than one attachments.
• Did you name your DOC file properly?
